1876
In 1876, the man who inspired the Etonic name, Charles A. Eaton, opened his first shoe factory in Brockton, MA.

1915
The C.A. Eaton Co. is one of the largest manufacturers of boots and shoes for the allied troops in World War I.

1945
The Charles A. Eaton Company produces the first golf specific shoe and becomes a leader in the golf shoe industry, quickly gaining a reputation for leading-edge technology and design.

1950
The Eaton Company boasts well over 100 PGA and LPGA professionals who wear the Etonic “Tournament of Champions” line.

1961
Golf industry First: The “Comfort Collar” for superior fit and comfort.

1970
Recognizing the growing interest in fitness, Etonic introduces athletic footwear and gains strong brand recognition during the “Running Boom.”

1976
Charles A. Eaton Golf Company changes its name to Etonic.

1980
Etonic achieves more golf industry firsts: The first golf shoe with waterproof leathers and the first bio-mechanically designed outsole (Stabilizer™).

1981
Etonic collaborates and produces tennis footwear with legendary tennis player and apparel maker, Fred Perry.

1984
Hakeem Olajuwon is selected in the first round by the Houston Rockets in the NBA draft. Nicknamed “Akeem the Dream”, Etonic develops and releases his signature shoes.

1990
The Company introduces the Difference golf shoe, leader of the spike less revolution. In the running category, Etonic launches StableAir™ and DRP™ technologies.
2006
Lotto Sport Italia, world leader in the production of technical footwear for soccer and tennis acquire Etonic Worldwide. The acquisition allowed Lotto to significantly strengthen its US market position by bringing an important and well-known brand within its portfolio.

2008
Etonic introduces PowerUp™ Technology in its golf footwear.
2010
Etonic is purchased in a joint venture between AL & S Footwear, The Weisfeld Group and The Castlewood Group and returns to the United States to continue its growth as an authentic, American athletic lifestyle brand.

Etonic launches newest line of industry leading performance and comfort activewear.
